I will be offering a series of asana lab workshops aimed at anyone that wants to learn and explore how to make the poses more accessible.
We will work together to be creative and get into the in and outs of poses. The first workshop in the series will focus on Downward Facing Dog: We’ll start with a discussion on Downward Dog – why some practitioners have a love/hate relationship with it, what can make the pose uncomfortable, identifying any challenges that may be felt towards the pose.
In this interactive workshop, we will go through a series of movements and identify ways to make Downward Dog feel more like a “resting pose”. We will pay special attention at how to use props – blocks, the chair and the wall.
We will be learning in a fun and relaxed environment. So come along and let’s make yoga more diverse and inclusive.
