Your body has always known. The question is, are we listening?

My Story
Helping people develop Body Intelligence and build a healthier relationship with themselves.
For more than a decade, I’ve been helping people rethink wellbeing through movement, rest, reflection and self-compassion. My work is rooted in the belief that wellbeing isn’t something we have to earn and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to living well.
As a speaker, wellbeing educator and author, I am passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported and that they belong. Whether I am speaking on a stage, leading a workshop, facilitating a retreat or teaching a class, my aim is always the same: to help people reconnect with themselves and remember that they do not need fixing.
I am the author of Demystifying Yoga and Teaching and Body Positive Yoga. I have also contributed to Black Girls Om Too, Beyond the Mirror, Forgiveness Is the Hardest Thing and Yoga Saved My Life.
Before moving into the wellbeing world, I spent more than 20 years in the corporate sector. Today, I bring those experiences together through speaking, writing, teaching and facilitation, helping individuals, communities and organisations create more inclusive and compassionate cultures.
In 2015, I founded Curvesome Yoga to challenge the idea that yoga is only for certain bodies. What began as a movement to make yoga more accessible has grown into a wider mission to help people reconnect with themselves through inclusive wellbeing. and In 2020, I co-founded NoireFitFest, the UK’s first Black wellness and fitness festival.
Known for my warm, down-to-earth approach, I share both professional expertise and lived experience to help people challenge limiting beliefs, build self-trust and discover that wellbeing is already within them.
I believe our bodies are constantly communicating with us. When we learn to listen, we develop the self-awareness and Body Intelligence to navigate life with greater confidence and ease.
Because sometimes the most important journey is not becoming someone new, but coming home to yourself.

The body whispers before it shouts. The question is whether we’ve learnt to listen.
